Itinerary
Day 1
Depart Cheadle at 0930 and travel across country taking in some of the delights of the English countryside en route and stopping in the lovely market town of Melton Mowbray where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops including the famous pork pie shop. Mid afternoon we continue to our hotel in time to freshen up or maybe take a dip in the hotel swimming pool before dinner.
Day 2
After breakfast we will visit the historic town of huntingdon with free time to visit the museum, take a stroll and have lunch before we continue for the afternoon to Wimpole Hall ad Gardens. Wimpole Hall and Gardens is a magnificent house with gardens full of thousands of daffodils and a historic working farm.
Day 3
After breakfast we will travel direct to Thriplow so that we will have plenty of time to admire the daffodils for which it is famous. Thriplow Daffodil Weekend is a traditional village fete come flower festival where the whole village is involved with many gardens open along with demonstartions, historic buildings, open crafts, choirs, food and much much more.....
