Itinerary
Day 1
Depart Cheadle at 0830 and travel to Scotland stopping at the fabulous Dumfries House for a guided tour and light lunch. This house and fabulous collection of furniture and art was rescued at the last minute by Prince Charles and a trust he set up as the furniture was travelling to London to be auctioned. The house has been described as an eighteenth century time capsule since the rooms and contents remain virtually unchanged for 250 years. We then continue to the Westerwood Hotel, Golf and Country Club set in its own grounds to arrive late afternoon in time to freshen up before dinner. Day 2
After a breakfast we will head into Edinburgh so we can spend the day in the city and find an early evening meal before we meet up for the coach to take us to the Tattoo in the evening. We will arrive back at the hotel late after the Tattoo. Day 3
After breakfast and checking out we will depart and travel home stopping in Moffat and arriving back early evening.
